You connect Gmail or Outlook with your account sign-in, or iCloud, Yahoo and the others with an app password (IMAP). From there SubTracker downloads only emails from shops, services and payments, read-only, and has them read by an artificial intelligence that does not use them for training. The text does not stay on our servers. No bank, no data sold on. You can disconnect everything whenever you like, and delete your account in one tap.

Does SubTracker connect to my bank?
No, and it never will: no open banking, no bank account, no card. Subscriptions are added by hand in two taps, or recognised from the payment receipts that arrive by email.
Does it track instalments and financing too?
Yes, and it is the main difference from almost every other subscription app. Beyond Netflix and Spotify, SubTracker follows instalment plans and financing: appliances, phones, buy-now-pay-later, with how many you have paid, how many are left and how much is still to go. How instalments work.
What does SubTracker read in my mailbox?
Emails from shops and services and those with “payment” or “invoice” in the subject, read-only: the rest of your mail is not downloaded. They are analysed by an artificial intelligence that does not use them for training, and the text does not stay on our servers. No data resold, account data on servers in Europe. Access can be revoked whenever you want and the account is deleted in one tap.
Does the free plan expire?
No. Subscriptions and instalments with no limit, with one mailbox connected, forever. The Pro plan adds unlimited mailboxes, AI analysis of a pasted receipt, savings tips, projections, data export and the full SubTracker on your computer.
How much does Pro cost?
€1.99 a month, €14.99 a year (like €1.25 a month) or €79.99 once, forever. It is activated inside the app and cancelled in one tap from your store settings.
How is it different from other subscription apps?
Three things. First: SubTracker finds your subscriptions in your email receipts, with one tap on Sync (Gmail and Outlook with your account sign-in, iCloud and the others over IMAP), and almost no app in this category does. Second: almost all the others ask you to connect your bank account using open banking. SubTracker never does. Third: almost all of them track subscriptions only, while here you also get instalments and financing, Klarna and Scalapay included, which usually weigh more than Netflix.
Is it an Italian app?
Yes. SubTracker is built in Italy, speaks Italian and English, and the account data lives on servers in Europe. The service catalogue covers what people actually use there: DAZN, Now, Mediaset Infinity, Il Sole 24 Ore, the financing plans of Italian shops.
Does it work on iPhone, on Android and on a computer?
Yes. Android app on Google Play (from Android 8) and iPhone app on the App Store (from iOS 15); on a computer it opens in any browser, on Windows, Mac or Linux. One account: what you add on the phone you find on the computer. Without Pro, the computer shows the Overview: subscriptions, instalments and insights on the computer are part of Pro.
Can I use it on a computer without installing anything?
Partly. In the browser, at subtracker.it, with nothing to install, you create your account and see the Overview; subscriptions, instalments and insights on the computer are part of Pro, which you activate once in the phone app.
